The Duct Sizer App is a professional tool that caters to the needs of engineers. It offers a faster and more versatile alternative to the duct sizing charts provided by leading HVAC manufacturers.

With this app, users can easily obtain a range of suitable duct sizes by inputting either the maximum friction rate or maximum velocity. It supports duct sizing for both rectangular and circular ducts, and users can switch between calculation methods by simply tapping on the values for velocity or friction.

Additionally, the app allows users to switch between measurement units (I-P and S-I) with a quick tap on the toggle switch at the top. This makes it convenient for engineers working in different regions or using different unit systems.

The detailed sizing mode is a standout feature of this app, enabling engineers to adjust duct dimensions and air flow rates while simultaneously checking the resulting friction rate and velocity. This mode is especially useful for analyzing existing duct systems and making precise adjustments.

All calculations in this app are based on standard air density of 0.075 lb/ft3 (1.2 kg/m3) in clean galvanized steel or non-metallic flexible ducts, ensuring accurate results.
